Apparatus List Rigs First Responders Apparatus Updates In mid-late 2000, the older Horton model 397 was replaced with a year 2000 Braun Chief XL. The former 397 was a Horton model 403 ambulance. Currently, the other two rigs, 398 and 399 are still Horton model 403 ambulances. Dover Township E.M.S. The Toms River First Aid Squad is one of the six first aid squads that makes up the larger Dover Township E.M.S. system. The five other squads that make up Dover Township E.M.S. are Dover-Brick FAS 17, East Dover FAS 18, Ortley Beach FAS 32, Pleasant Plains FAS 33, and Silverton FAS 36, with Toms River FAS being squad number 39. Out of all the Dover Township E.M.S. squads, Toms River First Aid Squad 39 is the oldest.
